Project Meeting to set the framework

Discussion between the coach, the coachee and the stakeholders to define the objectives of the coaching and better understand the context of the company, the organisation, the issues, the specificity of the situation.

Presentation of the coach, their training, their experience, their coaching philosophy.

Exploration Interview

The coaching begins with a first meeting between the coach and the coachee which serves to explore and frame the request.

Objectives of the discussion:

  • Enable the coachee to choose their coach, because it is essential that the coachee feels confident in the coaching relationship
  • Allow the coach to explore and gather information on the coachee’s perspective on the objectives and context
  • Allow the coach to determine if coaching is appropriate for the issue(s) identified

Tripartite Interview

A meeting involving the coach, the coachee, and the client to establish a coaching contract.

Objectives of the discussion:

• Clarify with the coachee and prescriber the objectives and framework of the coaching in the company

Clearly lay down the essential rules for the successful implementation of coaching (confidentiality of discussions between coach and coachee, the voluntary nature of the approach, results indicators, etc.)

  • Explore the perceptions of the coachee and the company on its effectiveness
  • Understand differences in perceptions

Individual Coaching

Coaching sessions focused on the coachee’s personal and professional development.

  • Framing the session: a session contract with the coachee, focused on the expectations at the end of the session
  • Elaboration: active listening and coaching to:
    • Change perspective,
    • Look at your problem differently in order to identify its contours precisely,
    • Have the coachee develop solutions.
  • Action plan: support the coachee on their results by setting up an action plan enabling a change in attitudes, behaviours, practices.

Closing Conversation

A final meeting to assess progress, discuss learnings, and consider future steps.

Summary and assessment of coaching:

  1. Lessons learned by the coachee
  2. Next steps and what to work on
  3. Coachee’s perception of the employer’s role in supporting their development path
  4. Identify which success criteria will be observable by the employer
